Emily is a self-advocate for Start with Hi, and she’s interested in making neighbourhoods into homes.
We joined Emily to talk about being a good neighbour and what it means to her to hear good morning or hi. Being a good neighbour can mean just introducing yourself, instead of waiting for someone else to make the first move.
In addition to building her own community with neighbours, Emily volunteers at S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
She cares about helping new Canadians make themselves at home and helping to build “A World of Multicultural Harmony.” We joined Emily for a day to find out what a simple hi from colleagues and coworkers means to her.
For Emily, being a good neighbour is important and so easy to start. It starts with a hi.
